O Zee 7’s 2011 –Seven A Side Cricket, Soccer, Touch Rugby Tournament.

Zahira College Colombo – OBA Qatar is an affiliated body of Embassy of Sri Lanka in Qatar & OBA Zahira College Colombo which is one of the prominent schools in Sri Lanka, established in Qatar year 2009 with the main objective of "To foster social intercourse & fellowship among Old Zahirians as well Sri Lankans residing in Qatar".

Coinciding with our objective, we organized “O Zee 7’s 2011” Seven a side Cricket, Soccer & touch Rugby tournament between Old Boys of Sri Lankan Schools who are residing in Qatar, There were  6 prominent Sri Lankan Schools corporate soccer clubs & 10 Prominent Sri Lankan Rugby & cricket playing Schools Old Boys Association were Participated for this tournament. Ozee 7’s is first of kind tournament in Qatar & the 2nd Edition of this tournament was held on 1st April 2011 at MIC sports complex, mesaid from 7.00 am onwards.

Both Soccer & Rugby were played in league basis, where in soccer there were three categories of trophies as champion, runners up, & third place. Apart from above fair Play team, Best Goal Keeper, & man of the tournament were awarded. In Rugby, there were Cup Champion, runners up, Bowl Champion & Plate Champions categories of trophies were awarded. Apart from above as individual award number try maker were awarded & in Cricket was held as knockout Basis, where Champion,Runners up, Man of the final, Man of the torunament & fair play team were awarded in all three sporting catergory.
